A young boy aged 24 once shared that he made over RM100k in 5 months, from his humble place, the bedroom.
In a TikTok video that is only 48 seconds was posted on June 10, Bryan Low disclosed that he achieved a total earnings of RM111,668.30 by selling fashion items like watches and bracelets online. Low, a graduate of Xiamen University Malaysia with a major in Finance, set a personal goal in January 2021 to generate RM100,000 through e-commerce using a capital of only RM400.
To begin his venture, Low sought marketing inspiration for a product from platforms such as TikTok Creative Center and Facebook Ad Library. He also conducted research on relevant keywords to gain insight into his competitors. Subsequently, he shared his process of product selection with his audience before exploring Alibaba's website as a source for finding a similar product.

Low proceeded by devising a promotional campaign for the chosen product and identified a specific target audience group. This  approach enabled his advertisements to effectively communicate a message that resonated with the intended audience.

Rescuer Shima Aris reveals shocking conditions maintained by breeders in an exclusive interview with WORLD OF BUZZ

In a distressing account, Shima Aris expressed, "Dirty cages confined them all, while helpless puppies were subjected to vaccinations before they even reached one month of age. Shockingly, the larger dogs had their vocal cords severed through the cruel practice of debarking. The breeder openly confessed that these animals had never been granted a chance to experience life outside their cages." It is worth noting that debarking involves the inhumane procedure of cutting a dog's vocal cords to prevent barking, and it is allegedly considered illegal in Malaysia.

In a strongly-worded message, she emphasized, "Hey, folks, it's high time we put a leash on buying cats and dogs. This is the prime source for most of our furry friends. Even the pet shops aren't immune, sourcing from those backyard breeders. So, you've got your heart set on a British Shorthair, eh? Well, brace yourself for this revelation. It's about time we ditch the purchase mentality and embrace adoption, folks. Let's make a difference, adopt la!"

In a recent news article, Dr. Saravanakumar S. Pillai, a former senior deputy director of the Veterinary Services Department (DVS), reveals that Malaysia lacks specific legislation to govern backyard animal breeders who contribute to the pet trade. 

In the article. Dr. Saravanakumar said that

“If you go to some of these pet shops, you’ll find there are puppies that come from professional breeders, which are sold at quite an expensive rate.

“You’ll know who the breeders are as well as the puppy’s lineage and you will be issued a certificate for the puppy upon purchase,’’ he said, adding that these shops would also probably have another set of pedigree puppies that were sold at a lower price.
